Yes the melancholy scientist is back in town and blogging again. Technically I’ve never left town but I moved to a really cool gated community. What? Basically I kept on blogging but I stopped blogging in public.

Why?

I started a new job (3 or 4 years ago) and I basically had some concerns that with that new job there may be a requirement for me to limit what I blogged/posted about. It was also a very exciting time and the quality of my blog posts did suffer as I had little time to properly proof check them. So my blog became a sort of abstract personal diary.
